NEWS RELEASE March 18, 2024 The Camden County Board of Education will hold a budget work session at the Board of Education building (174 NC Hwy 343-North, Camden, NC 27921) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, beginning at 4 p.m. The board may also go into closed session to discuss one or more confidential personnel matters, as allowed by NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6) following the work session. There will not be a public comment segment during the work session, nor will the meeting be livestreamed.

The special called closed session meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss one or more confidential personnel matters as allowed by N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6) and to consult with the Board Attorney regarding matters protected by the attorney/client privilege and to preserve that privilege, as allowed by N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3). Some personnel actions may be taken in open session following the closed session. There will be no public comment section during the special called meeting.
